I don’t want to get too excited yet, but tonight was nothing short of a miracle.

We had dinner together as a family at 7pm, placed food in the middle (mashed potato, carrots, broccoli, sliced pieces of steak, glasses of milk) and asked the kids to help themselves.

Both the girls heaped rather large portions of everything onto their plates having fun using some small tongs). Lilli struggled a little chewing the steak, but she ate at least two pieces. Jessie didn’t eat her broccoli but she licked it, which is a good start for her.

They both didn’t finish their plates but had yoghurt (and a couple of smarties) for dessert and everyone left the table VERY happy.

Bath time was late (we’ll try and work into our new routine to have baths before dinner) and bed time also late but hey, we’ve decided to pick our battles one at a time.
